I originally started our company in the early 90's as a one-man web site development company. It was the typical story of so many Internet businesses back then, with my first office location being based in my garage. My original equipment consisted of a few folding tables, one Packard Bell desktop computer, one HP-4C Scanner, and a Toshiba laptop for doing my on site presentations. Wow, I was ready for the big time.

The goal was to create attractive, user-friendly sites for a reasonable and fair amount of money. Thankfully, my prospects appreciated the approach and the business immediately flourished. News spread quickly and soon customers came from all over the United States requesting the creation and hosting of their web sites. Customers ranged from very small to medium sized businesses.

It wasn't long before the ever-increasing workload became too much for me to handle by myself. Additional staff members and equipment were added. Still working from the office in my garage, we would program until the early hours of the morning running on large amounts of coffee, soft drinks, and pizza. Business was very good and the web site business flourished.

It soon became apparent however, that something was missing from the overall marketing strategy of our clients web site creations. No one on the net knew that our customers web sites were up and operating. About that time, Search Engines began to appear on the net. Hoping that this may provide an avenue of exposure for our clients we decided to give them a try and see what happened.

The engine results were immediate and strong. People were actually seeing our client's sites on the engines and directories and buying products from them. Our customers were thrilled with the results and we, as their web producers, were pleased to have this extra tool to provide them.

In 1995, the news that we provided this service began to spread like wild fire to web site owners all over the globe. The demand was immediate with thousands of web site owners willing to pay us to assist them in this new frontier of marketing.

We saw a huge opportunity, as we were at the right place at the right time and ready to move on it. Our focus was now directed exclusively towards the search engine submissions business. Orders came rolling in so fast that it wasn't long that the workload became overwhelming for our small team.

At this point we had expanded and added programmers and moved into commercial offices. One night during a brainstorming session, someone said, "why can't we automate the submission process so we can do more of them and not have to hassle keying in all this information all the time?" The room fell silent then instantly ideas began to hit the white board as we began to outline our plan.

Our new company President spearheaded the project. Born and raised in London, he received his computer sciences training at London's Brunel University. From concept, to design, to programming, then on to trials, revisions, and the investment of a whole lot of money, we finally had an automated system that delivered exactly what we wanted.

Since then, what we had started in my garage rapidly became one of the largest search engine submission companies in the world. Our Retail customers include Hewlett-Packard, NASA, Simon and Schuster, Price Waterhouse, numerous United States Government Agencies, Universities from around the world, Professional Sports Teams, United Artist Theatres, Wall Street City and thousands upon thousands more. Clients range in size from multinational corporate giants to moms and pops.

From day one, our entire team agreed that it was our goal to build efficiency into our network so that our cost per unit sold would be dramatically less than our competition. Additionally, we wanted to allow for tremendous expansion. Presently our network handles a massive volume and still operates at less than 10% of its designed capacity. Our Goal Has Been Accomplished...

With our Retail Division in place and in a good state of profitability, we began to look to additional areas of expansion. It was a natural move into what is now our Wholesale Division.

We began to see our retail competitors now as potential clients for our new wholesale division. The plan was that we would be hidden in the background and do all of their back office submission work while they handled the up front marketing and customer support areas. At first they met us with skepticism and distrust, as they only knew us as this huge direct competitor of theirs. But that soon changed...

Why should our competitors want to do business with us? The answer was simple... We Could Do Their Submissions For Them At Less Cost Than If They Did Them Themselves.

By providing well-written contracts with non-circumvention clauses etc., we are now representing some of our largest retail competitors.
